Sixth Grade focuses on developing skills of the Body through Theatre Games and Pantomime:

  • cooperation

  • listening

  • following directions

  • observation

  • body movement

  • concentration

​

The final project is a Glove Puppet presentation where a glove is created from a selected Nursery Rhyme and presented to an audience of peers, parents, and teachers.

Body Movement Skills

Learning effective use of body, students select a scene, prepare a role and perform a Pantomime communicating clear, effective movement. 

 

In preparation for a Glove Puppet presentation, a nursery rhyme is selected and a hand puppet is designed to represent subjects in the rhyme.
